HSA’s Windward Women’s Mission Statement
The Windward Women, created at the Halifax Sailing Association of Daytona Beach is a group open to all women members who strive to improve sailing skills and confidence on the water through instruction, recreational sailing, and competition within a friendly and supportive environment. The social component of the Windward Women fosters friendships through events, on-the-water activities and general club participation, including leadership roles and community engagement.

History
The Women of HSA had their first meet and greet in April 2022. It was a big success! Nine women showed up and had a great time getting to know each other. They discussed their desire to sail more often, so at the next “meeting” they hope to be able to go for a sail together.
