Notice
of Race 2008 Saturday, May 10, 2008 Since its inception the Women’s
Florida State Sunfish Championship has been held on the West Coast of Florida.
Past winners include Gail Heausler (2001, 2002), Ursula Olson (2003, 2005,
2006), Rita Steele (2004) and Cindy Taylor (2007). All Women Sunfish Sailors are
invited to participate in this sailing event for the perpetual trophy. Racing
will take place on the beautiful Indian River Lagoon across from This regatta will be governed by
The Racing Rules of Sailing 2005-2008, the International Sunfish Class (ISCA)
rules, this Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions. It is the
competitor’s decision to enter the regatta and to start or continue any race.
Competitors are ultimately responsible for any risks. Competitors accept full
responsibility for their actions during this event. Registration and check in:

fee $10.00. Entry fee collected day of race. Entry fee could be lower based on
number of expected competitors. Contact Cindy now so number of competitors can
