Turkey Trot Starting Rules

To free yourself of a penalty simply get clear of the race course and other boats and do a 360.

All standard sailing rules apply. 

Flag sequence is as follows:

S-11 min                        3 short horn blasts

S-10 min                        long horn - white flag up

S-6 min                          white flag down

S-5 min                          long horn - blue flag up

S-1 min                          blue flag down

START big monos             long horn - red flag up

S+4 min                         red flag down

S+5 min                         long horn, red & white flags up

S+9 min                         red & white flags down

S+10 min small monos     red flag up

S+14 min                       red flag down

S+15 min                       long horn - red & blue flags up

S+19 min                        red & blue flags down

S+20 min multis              long horn - red flag up

Big monos are 20' to 30'

Small monos are less then 20'
