THE BIG BOYS RACE

This is a laid back easy going race from the Sailing Center to Marker 51 and back.  

No handicapping, ONLY Rules of The Road apply (no other sanctioned or official race rules) just first 20' or larger boat across the finish line wins.

This is for the members who have their own 20' or larger boat and those who have been qualified to sail one of the 7 HSA "Big Boys" boats... but all are welcome if you care to mix it up.

If you do not have your own boat that is 20' or larger, we encourage you to race with somone who owns
one. Or you can get qualified to skipper one of the 7 HSA Club Boats that are 20' to 30'.

It's easy, just contact one of the boat captains of the larger boats and get some time built up on them as crew. Before you know it you will be contacting Sue Moni to take the Qualification Test so that you can command your own boat and crew on one of these larger boats yourself.

We would love to see our "Big Boys" race grow with you as skipper of a "Big Boys" boat.
