What is a boat captain?
Short definition of boat captain:
The boat captain is the coordinator of boat reservations and overseer of boat
maintenance. The captain is also responsible to make sure that all boat
users are current with their tow boat membership.
More details: All sailors who are already checked out on a particular boat
must contact the boat captain before use to make sure the boat is in
working order and that it is not already booked for that day.
If a boat captain is unavailable then the Fleet Vice Commodore must be
contacted. ( We hope that when a captain is out of town he will notify Fleet
Vice Commodore.)
