Adult Sunfish Sailing Class 4 day class $125.00 total
Adult Day Sailor Intermediate Class 2 day class $125.00 total
Adult Basic Keel Boat Class 3 day class $450.00 total

Our Beginner Course  No previous Sailing Experience Necessary!

Adult Sunfish Sailing Classes - (4 Day Class)
Our US Sailing Certified Instructors are committed to helping you learn to sail and learn basic seamanship. We will introduce you to the wonderful sailing community of Daytona Beach, and we take special care that you learn safely and enjoy your new experience. You can expect to learn some basic knots, basic sailing maneuvers, safety procedures, wind-sensing, right-of-way, nautical terms and the "joy of sailing".
Boat: Sunfish - this is a one person sailboat, approx. 13'10", with one sail.
Prerequisite: You must know how to swim and be in good physical health! You will get wet the first day!

Cost: $125 for entire course
Class size: 12 students (14 max. per class)
Class sessions: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day

Our Intermediate Course

Adult Day Sailor Intermediate Classes- (2 Day Class)
Initially an instructor will be in the boat with two students to teach and demonstrate how the boat should be sailed by two crewman. The students will then sail the boat, refining skills previously learned and adding more advanced sailing maneuvers.
Boat: Capri 14.2 - this is a two/three person sailboat with two sails.
Prerequisite: Must have taken HSA Adult Sunfish Sailing Class and/or be able to demonstrate to an HSA US Sailing Instructor that you can successfully sail a Sunfish boat in light wind.

Cost: $125.00
Class size: 8 students
Class sessions: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Basic Keelboat Classes - (3 Day Class)
The US Sailing Basic Keelboat Classes are the national standard for quality sailing instruction. This course, taught on classic 25ft & 30ft sloops, includes keelboat concepts, boat and personal preparation, boat parts, nautical terms, rigging, sail trim, departure and return under sail, basic sailing maneuvers, points of sail, five basic knots, wind-sensing, use of navigational charts, basic navigation rules, emergency procedures, anchoring, overboard recovery and more. Basic Keelboat Class is a 3-day Course which provides the option to become certified by US Sailing for Basic Keelboat.
Cost: $150.00 per day of instruction ($450.00 total), Certification Test (optional): $50.00
Class size: 4 students
Class sessions: 9:00 am to 4:30 pm

Private Lessons-(2 hour minimum - 4 person maximum)
One of our many sailing instructors is available to cater to your personal sailing needs. Want to brush up on your skills, need lessons during the week, have irregular hours or just want one-on-one instruction? Available for both Small Boat Sailing and Day Sailor.
Cost: $30 per hour
Class size: 4 students max.

Special Keelboat Sailing Activities & Programs - (2 hour minimum - 4 person maximum)
Day Cruising In-Shore - $100 per 2 hours
Day Cruising Off-Shore - Special Rates Depending upon Activity
